Pastor Reggie Kimbro
Rev. Kimbro has served as senior minister in Grace Free Presbyterian Church in Winston-Salem, NC since its founding in 1987. He attended Bob Jones University where he met his wife Jan and attained a BA in Bible and an MA in Theology. He completed his MDiv at what is now Geneva Reformed Seminary in Greenville, SC where he also serves as the Seminary President. He has written a book challenging the theology of Dispensationalism as well as several smaller works. His wife Jan grew up in southeastern Pennsylvania where her father ministered in a large Bible Church. The Kimbros praise the Lord for three adult daughters with wonderful testimonies of the Lord’s grace.
Assistant Pastor Derrick Bowman
Derrick Bowman was born and raised in Pell City, Alabama, just East of Birmingham. He attended Bob Jones University and then later completed his MDiv. at Geneva Reformed Seminary in Greenville, SC. He has served in churches in British Columbia, Canada, and Atlanta, Georgia. Derrick's wife, Lydia, grew up attending Grace FPC and is actively involved in the children's ministries of the church. The Bowmans have 4 children, including one daughter who is the first girl in Derrick's family since 1896!
Dr. Jim Messer (Ruling Elder)
Dr. Messer and his wife, Christie, started attending Grace FPC in 2006. Jim was ordained as a ruling elder in May of 2022. Before being elected as an elder, Jim served as a deacon for a little over 3 years. Jim received his undergraduate degree from Bob Jones University and completed his medical training at Wake Forest University here in Winston Salem, NC. Jim's wife, Christie, serves our congregation by playing the piano during some of our church services and helping with the children's ministries. Jim and Christie have 7 children.
